Department of Architecture at Model Institute of Science & Technology (MIST), Gazipuris one of the top departmentsthan any polytechnic in Bangladesh. It’s started journey from 2011 and first enrolled 09 students in academic session 2011-2012 under the Faculty of Civil Engineering. This department offers four years diploma in architect degree. History of architecture is the history of civilization. In this civilization, anarchitect’s dealing with analyze problem, innovate solution, rationalize process and optimize resources. In Bangladesh,architects are the leader of the building sector. They can create beauty in this civilization. I wish that, we educate our students as per changing needs of civilization and they will introduce our department as one of the recognized institute in nationally and internationally through their creative works. I hope after completion diploma in architect they will createprofessional field workdemand for architects in the civilization
